The my|BOS (Back-Office Systems) product line focuses core banking systems to support key banking products, services and processes.
Since its inception, BSC PRAHA has worked on this aspect of SW development. A number of my|BOS systems have been developed for the IBM System i platform (also known as iSeries or AS/400). This platform has remained very popular for its DB2 integrated database system, and above all for its security and stability – features that are important in any sector.
The my|BOS product portfolio for this platform consists of the products themselves and sophisticated interfaces between external systems and e.g. the Midas core banking system by the British company Misys plc. The iSeries platform has been to date our key domain, as we have many years’ experience with this platform and have developed a number of sophisticated solutions, both products and customer-specific projects.
Of course, our activities have also expanded in other directions. While my|BOS products for the iSeries platform cover individual aspects of back-office banking solutions, BSC PRAHA also offers a total banking solution to cover key banking products and services provided by (smaller-scale) financial institutions, as well as a separate solution for recovering receivables – see the individual my|BOS products for more details.
